Tiffany’s Hidden Garden: the summer chapter goes tropical
Living on a tropical island does not make me immune to a particularly beautiful interpretation of nature. Apparently, it just makes me more demanding about the flowers.

Tiffany introduced the summer expression of Blue Book 2026: Hidden Garden on 1 June. Nathalie Verdeille and the Tiffany Design Studio reinterpret Jean Schlumberger’s natural motifs through sculptural forms and vivid colour.
A new chapter within Blue Book 2026

The important detail is that this is a seasonal expression of Blue Book 2026, rather than an unrelated new everyday jewellery line. I would approach it as a collection to study: look at how colour makes a familiar bird or flower feel strange and newly interesting. Nature is supplying the subject; the design still has to do the work.
What I would look at first
| Question | What it reveals |
|---|---|
| Which colour leads? | A clear dominant colour gives the eye somewhere to begin. |
| How is the motif simplified or exaggerated? | The design becomes more than an illustration of a flower or bird. |
| What changes when the piece moves? | Volume and reflected light can tell a different story from a still photograph. |
I find the tension between a recognisable motif and an unexpected palette particularly appealing. It is playful without needing to look casual. A bird can be whimsical and exquisitely considered at the same time. Most of us would be happy to manage that balance at lunch.
The collection’s broader Hidden Garden material also shows how an archival idea can be reinterpreted rather than simply repeated. I would compare the outlines and the use of space before getting distracted by the size of the stones. source ↗
The island wardrobe takeaway
For my own styling edit, I would put one colourful piece against an uncomplicated fabric: white, warm beige or a solid evening colour. The point is to give the jewel room to be seen. A busy neckline and an equally busy necklace can feel like two dinner guests talking at once.
Let the colour have a little space around it.
If a particular Blue Book piece catches your attention, contact Tiffany with its exact reference and ask about viewing arrangements. The existence of a local Tiffany boutique does not confirm access to the high-jewellery piece in a campaign. I would keep the appreciation, appointment and purchase as three separate stages.
